Currently, every Xiaomi fan is waiting for an update on the recently announced HyperOS for Xiaomi phones as many leaks are coming such as new screenshots of HyperOS which we have already shared. Now, an interesting aspect of Android 14 which is the lock screen customizations has been spotted in HyperOS. Let’s see what it will look like and what are the options available for Xiaomi users.
HyperOS Lock Screen Customizations
Xiaomi will introduce the recently announced operating system HyperOS which will replace MIUI forever on Xiaomi devices starting from the Xiaomi 14 series. The Chinese tech giant will share some more news regarding HyperOS in the coming days. The new operating system will be available first for Chinese users and after global users can expect the update as usual. The new OS from Xiaomi is called PengchaoOS in China. Xiaomi may add lock screen customizations for the first time according to these screenshots.
As you can see in the screenshots, Xiaomi added some new features to customize your lock screen. These options somewhat look like Samsung’s One UI 6 version. Anyways, you have now options to customize the font of the clock. Also, you can change the color of the clock on the lock screen.

HyperOS New Control Center
Finally, Xiaomi started updating its system apps for the upcoming HyperOS operating system for Xiaomi phones. Recently, the System UI Plugin app has been updated to version 15.0.0.78.0 and is now available for download. Xiaomi users can download and install the APK on their devices to get the new redesigned Control Center. This APK is already working on Android 12-based MIUI 14 version and above. As you can see in the screenshots, the whole UI of the Control Center has been revamped in the latest update. Although it’s not perfect yet, but Xiaomi may release a new update for the alignment of toggles as shown in the latest screenshot.
