Xiaomi HyperOS New System App Updates



Currently, every Xiaomi fan is waiting for an update on the recently announced HyperOS for Xiaomi phones as many leaks are coming such as new screenshots of HyperOS which we have already shared. Now, an interesting aspect of Android 14 which is the lock screen customizations has been spotted in HyperOS. Let’s see what it will look like and what are the options available for Xiaomi users.


HyperOS Lock Screen Customizations 



 


Xiaomi will introduce the recently announced operating system HyperOS which will replace MIUI forever on Xiaomi devices starting from the Xiaomi 14 series. The Chinese tech giant will share some more news regarding HyperOS in the coming days. The new operating system will be available first for Chinese users and after global users can expect the update as usual. The new OS from Xiaomi is called PengchaoOS in China. Xiaomi may add lock screen customizations for the first time according to these screenshots.




As you can see in the screenshots, Xiaomi added some new features to customize your lock screen. These options somewhat look like Samsung’s One UI 6 version. Anyways, you have now options to customize the font of the clock. Also, you can change the color of the clock on the lock screen.

HyperOS New Control Center




Finally, Xiaomi started updating its system apps for the upcoming HyperOS operating system for Xiaomi phones. Recently, the System UI Plugin app has been updated to version 15.0.0.78.0 and is now available for download. Xiaomi users can download and install the APK on their devices to get the new redesigned Control Center. This APK is already working on Android 12-based MIUI 14 version and above. As you can see in the screenshots, the whole UI of the Control Center has been revamped in the latest update. Although it’s not perfect yet, but Xiaomi may release a new update for the alignment of toggles as shown in the latest screenshot.

HyperOS Security App

Xiaomi’s MIUI Security app has been updated to v8.2.6 and has been revamped in this particular update. The battery page under settings is also updated with more features now such as Current Mode, Battery Protection, battery Check-up, and additional features. Additionally, the Security feature under settings got some new changes in the UI and the same goes with Automated tasks. You can check out the preview of the new Security App.






HyperOS File Manager


The Xiaomi File Manager app has also been updated to the latest version 5.0.1.4-1 which brings a revamped UI for Xiaomi users. The new user interface looks clean and subtle.




HyperOS Weather App

The weather app gets a new design with the latest update introduced by Xiaomi. Every section of the app is now more clean and looks better than the previous version as shown in the screenshots.




HyperOS System Launcher

The MIUI system launcher has been updated to the latest version 4.39.13.7252-09261655 with a new revamped design. Almost every MIUI app has been updated to the latest version and all of them are now available for download. Anyways, the latest update to the system launcher brings a revamped design and performance improvements.

Additionally, Xiaomi moved System Navigation and Arrange items in the Recents feature under the Other option introduced in the latest update. Also, the Show Memory Status feature falls under the Arrange Items in Recents option as shown in the screenshots.







HyperOS Recents





Xiaomi users have been demanding this feature since the last MIUI versions but finally, HyperOS could arrive with the new iOS Recents Bar as shown in the screenshots below. The new iOS Recents Bar looks more appealing and stunning when compared to the normal version. This feature is already available on many MIUI-based custom ROMS since MIUI 14 but a normal person can’t use this feature because of some restrictions.




Likewise, for all other system apps, Xiaomi introduced a new revamped design.
